Important

Create a new assignment.

Only teachers in a class can create an assignment. Assignments start in draft status, which means that students can't see the assignment until it's published.

This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. In the request body, supply a JSON representation of an educationAssignment object.

If successful, this method returns a 201 Created response code and an educationAssignment object in the response body.
