The GetRecordElementaryPid method retrieves the PID assignment for a specified elementary stream in a program.
Syntax
HRESULT GetRecordElementaryPid(
[in] WORD wProgramNumber,
[in] DWORD dwRecordIndex,
[out] WORD *pwVal
);
Parameters
wProgramNumber [in]
Specifies the program_number field of the program, as given in the PAT. Use the GetRecordProgramNumber method to obtain the program number.dwRecordIndex [in]
Specifies the elementary stream, indexed from zero.pwVal [out]
Pointer to a variable that receives the elementary_PID field from the PMT.
Return value
The method returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the values shown in the following table.
