To enforce a Group Policy object link
In the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) console tree, double-click the forest containing the ___domain, site, or organizational unit (OU) containing the link you want to enforce, and then do one of the following:
To enforce a GPO link at the ___domain level, double-click Domains , and then double-click the ___domain containing the GPO link.
To enforce a GPO link at the OU level, double-click Domains , double-click the ___domain containing the OU, and then double-click the OU containing the GPO link.
To enforce a GPO link at the site level, double-click Sites , and double-click the site containing the GPO link.
Right-click the GPO link, and then click Enforced to enable or disable enforcing the link. A check mark next to Enforced indicates that the link is enforced.
Additional considerations
You must have Link GPOs permission for the ___domain, site, or organizational unit containing the GPO link to complete this procedure.
To determine whether a GPO link is enforced, you can also click the GPO link and look at the information in the Links section of the Scope tab.
