Universal Print Administrator Roles

Universal Print supports three administrator roles which helps organizations minimize risk of accidental or malicious configuration changes assigning each person the least permissive role they need to perform their job function.

Roles

These are the supported roles:

Global Administrator
  1. Purchase and assign Universal Print licenses
  2. Manage all printers
  3. Configure global settings
  4. Assign access to printers and delegate administration
Printer Administrator
  1. Manage all printers
  2. Configure global settings
  3. Assign access to printers and delegate administration
Printer Technician
  1. Manage a specific list of printers using delegated administration
