EventDescSetTask function (evntprov.h)

Sets the Task member of the event descriptor.

Syntax

EVNTPROV_PFORCEINLINE PEVENT_DESCRIPTOR EventDescSetTask(
  [in] PEVENT_DESCRIPTOR EventDescriptor,
  [in] USHORT            Task
);

Parameters

[in] EventDescriptor

Event descriptor to modify. See EVENT_DESCRIPTOR.

[in] Task

Task that identifies the logical component of the application whose events you want to enable.

Return value

The modified event descriptor.

Remarks

This is a convenience macro for setting the member of the EVENT_DESCRIPTOR structure.
