For Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 I came across this article on Office site https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-sharepoint-services-help/permission-levels-and-permissions-HA010100149.aspx, couldn’t see anything for SharePoint Foundation, also I noticed some of the information in this article was wrong, I went into my lab and compared it
