Audit and Control Management Server 2013 - "Cannot Open Security Policy" error

You may receive the following error when creating or updating a service for a processor in the ACM Service Manager for Microsoft Audit and Control Management Server 2013:

Error: The service installation failed. Cannot Open Security Policy

A device attached to the system is not functioning.

This error occurs when you have not entered the correct account in the Logon Account field on the Settings tab:

The account needs to be in the format ___domain\account. Check to make sure the account name is spelled correctly, the ___domain is included, and that a backslash is entered after the ___domain and not a forward slash.
