Just as luck will have it, I was working on some transaction stuff when this month's issue of MSDN Magazine appeared in my mailbox. I really enjoy that magazine - this month even more so. I have been writing and experimenting about transactions and transaction support in WCF, and in this issue, Juval Lowy has a nice article that explains a lot of stuff. I recommend reading it.
