My name is Tony Guidici. I am a Consultant in the Midwest District for Microsoft Consulting Services. Here's some information about me:
- I am a die-hard Cubs fan (being die-hard means that I'll probably be dead and fully petrified before they ever win the World Series!)
- I am motivated by new challenges, especially learning new technologies and methodologies.
- I am also a Wisconsin Badgers fan (I know, Cubs/Bears fans aren't supposed to root for Wisconsin teams - but you get your MBA at UW, and then get back to me...)
- I have struggled with most of these ever-changing technologes, just like you.
So that's a few tidbits about who I am. So why do you care?
Well, if you're a fan of any Chicago team (except the White Sox) or the Badgers - we can have fun discussing that. (By the way, the NCAA giving the Badgers a #3 seed in the Midwest is total @#$!&^#!)
Probably the more important reason to read this blog is that I intend to post information that is hopefully useful to you, the developer. While the many people in the product groups are doing amazing work, I believe that I have a different perspective in that I work in the field, side-by-side with many of you. As I create useful solutions, I will do my best to get them posted here as quickly as possible, so that you can take advantage of them as well.
In return, I hope to get something from you - feedback. Please let me know what is useful, what is useless, and what you'd like more of. The more I hear from you, the better idea I will have of what I can do to help.
p.s. - Opening day is only a few weeks away!
