Business value

Sales Chat simplifies information retrieval and consumption. Sellers spend less time searching for information in different applications, combining them, and trying to derive insights. They can conveniently use natural language to find the right information across applications, analyze the information, and derive insights, all from within Sales Chat.

Feature details

Sales Chat provides a conversational interface to interact with sales information spread across different applications including customer and deal data in CRM, meetings in Teams, pitch decks and product documentation in SharePoint, and much more. You can use natural language to search through the data, summarize the information, and run analysis combining data across sources.

As an admin, you can:

  • Choose which users in the organization should get Sales Chat. If your sellers already use Copilot for Sales, Sales Chat will be deployed automatically for them.
  • Configure your organization's Copilot experience to use CRM customizations and terminology specific to your company.

As a seller, you can use Sales Chat to:

  • Understand your customers: Be it preparing for a customer meeting or preparing an account plan, it all starts with getting a comprehensive view of the account, the current business with them, open opportunities, and past engagements. With Sales Chat, you can look up all this information using natural language.
  • Ramp up on newly assigned accounts: Go beyond customer data in CRM. Find colleagues who have engaged with the customer in recent months and have the most context to share. Quickly get the topics that are of interest to the customer and have been part of recent engagements.
  • Grow your business and find new opportunities: Identify stalled deals by using Sales Chat to discover open issues discussed in emails and meetings. Find colleagues who have faced similar issues in other deals in the past to get help in unblocking your deals.
