Business value
Do you miss the ability to debug into the System application? With the recent introduction of the SecureText data type, you can now debug the System application. This feature enhances both development and troubleshooting of applications. It also supports Open Source contributions to the System application itself.
Feature details
With this feature, you can step into the System application code base when you debug. You can understand the code flow and inspect variables, unless the variables are protected by the new SecureText type.
Access to debug the System application helps during development and troubleshooting of AppSource and customer-specific applications. It also helps when you contribute to the System application through https://github.com/microsoft/BCApps.
