HTTP request
GET /drive/bundles/{bundle-id}
GET /drive/items/{bundle-id}
Because bundles are items, you can use the items collection to return metadata about a bundle.
You can also use the bundles collection as a convenience to ensure you get a bundle in the response.
Optional query parameters
You can use the OData query parameters to restrict the shape of the objects returned from this call.
Name |
Description |
Authorization |
Bearer {token}. Required. Learn more about authentication and authorization. |
if-none-match |
eTag. Optional. If this request header is included and the eTag (or cTag) provided matches the current tag on the file, a 304 Not Modified response is returned. |
Request body
Don't supply a request body with this method.
Response
If successful, this method returns a 200 OK
response code and a driveItem object that contains the bundle in the response body.
For information about error responses, see Microsoft Graph error responses and resource types.
Examples
Example 1: Get a bundle
Request
The following example shows a request.
GET https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/drive/bundles/{bundle-id}
// Code snippets are only available for the latest version. Current version is 5.x
// To initialize your graphClient, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/sdks/create-client?from=snippets&tabs=csharp
var result = await graphClient.Drives["{drive-id}"].Bundles["{driveItem-id}"].GetAsync();
mgc drives bundles get --drive-id {drive-id} --drive-item-id {driveItem-id}
// Code snippets are only available for the latest major version. Current major version is $v1.*
// Dependencies

.get();

Example 2: Get a bundle and its children in a single call
Use the expand
query string parameter to include the children of a bundle in the same request that retrieves the metadata of a bundle.
Request
The following example shows a request.
GET https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/drive/items/{bundle-id}?expand=children
// Code snippets are only available for the latest version. Current version is 5.x
// To initialize your graphClient, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/sdks/create-client?from=snippets&tabs=csharp
var result = await graphClient.Drives["{drive-id}"].Items["{driveItem-id}"].GetAsync((requestConfiguration) =>
{
requestConfiguration.QueryParameters.Expand = new string []{ "children" };
});

requestConfiguration.queryParameters.expand = new String []{"children"};
});
const options = {

};
const client = Client.init(options);
let driveItem = await client.api('/drive/items/{bundle-id}?expand=children')
.get();
<?php

$graphServiceClient = new GraphServiceClient($tokenRequestContext, $scopes);
$requestConfiguration = new DriveItemItemRequestBuilderGetRequestConfiguration();
$queryParameters = DriveItemItemRequestBuilderGetRequestConfiguration::createQueryParameters();
$queryParameters->expand = ["children"];
$requestConfiguration->queryParameters = $queryParameters;

query_params = DriveItemItemRequestBuilder.DriveItemItemRequestBuilderGetQueryParameters(

query_parameters = query_params,
)
result = await graph_client.drives.by_drive_id('drive-id').items.by_drive_item_id('driveItem-id').get(request_configuration = request_configuration)
Response
The following example shows the response. This call returns the bundle metadata and a list of children of the bundle.
If the bundle has no children, it returns an empty collection.
If the number of children in the bundle is greater than the default page size, the children@odata.nextLink property is returned with a URL that can be
used to request the next page of children in the bundle.
Note: The response object shown here might be shortened for readability.
