APIs under the /beta version in Microsoft Graph are subject to change. Use of these APIs in production applications is not supported. To determine whether an API is available in v1.0, use the Version selector.

Caution

The Outlook tasks API is deprecated and stopped returning data on August 20, 2022. Use the To Do API instead.

Use this API to add an attachment to an outlookTask. The attachment can be a file (of fileAttachment type) or Outlook item (itemAttachment type).

This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. Content-Type	A string that represents the type of data in the body of an entity. Required.

In the request body, supply a JSON representation of attachment object.

Response

If successful, this method returns 201 Created response code and attachment object in the response body.
