| Revenue requirement | At least USD $1,000 in CSP transactional revenue during the preceding 12 months at the reseller Partner Local Account (PLA) tenant level. You can work with their distributor to generate new business sufficient to exceed USD 1,000 in TTM revenue for that tenant. |
| Security score | Complete all mandatory requirements of Partner Center security score. |
The mandatory security requirements are: - Enable multifactor authentication (MFA) for all administrative users in the CSP tenant - Designate a security contact within Partner Center |
These requirements are validated annually, on the anniversary month of your original onboarding to a CSP reseller tenant.
Authorization enforcement
If a reseller doesn't meet the authorization requirements at their CSP onboarding anniversary month, the tenant is subject to deauthorization, and the partner can no longer transact as a CSP indirect reseller at that business ___location. Meeting the revenue requirement and security score annually is a prerequisite for the reseller's continued CSP authorization.
Eligible TTM revenue is based on CSP transactional revenue, which includes perpetual software, and excludes nontransactional revenue from Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), Digital Partner of Record (DPOR), and Partner Admin Link (PAL) status.
Partners who are at risk of not meeting their authorization requirements receive a series of advance notification emails, starting three months before their CSP onboarding anniversary month. During this three-month period, the reseller can work with their distributor to generate new business and meet at least USD 1,000 in TTM revenue for that tenant and make any adjustments necessary to meet their minimum-security score.
If the indirect resellers haven't met eligibility requirements after the 90-day notification period, the partners receive notification to inform that deauthorization proceedings will begin. After 30 days from this written notice, the indirect reseller won't be authorized to transact and/or manage any CSP customers through the Partner Center portal or be eligible to earn incentives and benefits that are related to CSP.
After deauthorization, the reseller must wait at least one year before re-enrolling for indirect reseller status at that business ___location
Indirect resellers should connect with their distributors to work together on meeting the revenue requirement and upgrading their security capabilities as needed.
