Description
The Remove-CMAccount cmdlet removes a user account from Configuration Manager. Configuration Manager uses user accounts to connect to various system and network resources. For more information about user accounts, see Technical Reference for Accounts Used in Configuration Manager.

Run Configuration Manager cmdlets from the Configuration Manager site drive, for example PS XYZ:\>. For more information, see getting started.
Examples
Example 1: Remove a user account by using its name
PS XYZ:\> Remove-CMAccount -Name "CONTOSO\EDaugherty"
This command removes the user account that is specified by its name.
