Importing and Exporting Objects

There are several methods to get data in and out of your database, and recommended uses for each method.

Export the dataset of a report as an .xml file.	To view a report on a computer that does not have Microsoft Dynamics NAV installed. To troubleshoot a report on a computer that does not have Microsoft Dynamics NAV installed. Note This exports the structure of the dataset and the data from the report.
