ShortPath Property

Returns the short path used by programs that require the earlier 8.3 file naming convention.

                      object.ShortPath

Remarks

The object is always a File or Folder object.

The following code illustrates the use of the ShortPath property with a File object:

   fso = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");
   f = fso.GetFile(filespec);
   s = "The short path for " + "" + f.Name;
   s += "" + "<br>";
