For Visual C++ versions 4.0 and later, open the program group and click the Uninstall icon.
For earlier versions, move your project files to a safe directory, delete the Visual C++ directories, then use Regedit or a tool like it to delete the Visual C++ folder from the registry; for example, delete the folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Developer.
Warning Be very careful when deleting folders from your registry. Serious damage can result to your computer configuration if you delete the wrong one.
