Updates an app package.

Syntax

HRESULT UpdatePackage(
  [in] IStream                                   *baselinePackageStream,
  [in] IStream                                   *deltaPackageStream,
  [in] APPX_PACKAGE_EDITOR_UPDATE_PACKAGE_OPTION updateOption
);

Parameters

[in] baselinePackageStream

An IStream that provides the contents of the baseline app package.

[in] deltaPackageStream

An IStream that provides the contents of the delta (difference) app package.

[in] updateOption

The update options.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
