IAzApplication::CreateOperation method (azroles.h)

The CreateOperation method creates an IAzOperation object with the specified name.

Syntax

HRESULT CreateOperation(
  [in]           BSTR         bstrOperationName,
  [in, optional] VARIANT      varReserved,
  [out]          IAzOperation **ppOperation
);

Parameters

[in] bstrOperationName

Name for the new IAzOperation object.

[in, optional] varReserved

Reserved for future use.

[out] ppOperation

A pointer to a pointer to the created IAzOperation object.

Return value

If the method succeeds, the method returns S_OK.

Any other HRESULT value indicates that the operation failed.

Remarks

You must call the IAzOperation::Submit method to persist any changes made to the returned object.

The returned IAzOperation object is an immediate child object of the IAzApplication object.
