IAzApplication::OpenScope method (azroles.h)

The OpenScope method opens an IAzScope object with the specified name.

Syntax

HRESULT OpenScope(
  [in]           BSTR     bstrScopeName,
  [in, optional] VARIANT  varReserved,
  [out]          IAzScope **ppScope
);

Parameters

[in] bstrScopeName

Name of the IAzScope object to open.

[in, optional] varReserved

Reserved for future use.

[out] ppScope

A pointer to a pointer to the opened IAzScope object.

Return value

If the method succeeds, the method returns S_OK.

Any other HRESULT value indicates that the operation failed.
