IAzScope::OpenRole method (azroles.h)

The OpenRole method opens an IAzRole object with the specified name.

Syntax

HRESULT OpenRole(
  [in]           BSTR    bstrRoleName,
  [in, optional] VARIANT varReserved,
  [out]          IAzRole **ppRole
);

Parameters

[in] bstrRoleName

Name of the IAzRole object to open.

[in, optional] varReserved

Reserved for future use.

[out] ppRole

A pointer to a pointer to the opened IAzRole object.

Return value

The return value is an HRESULT. A value of S_OK indicates success. Any other value indicates that the operation failed.
