ICatalogObject::IsPropertyReadOnly method (comadmin.h)

Indicates whether the specified property can be modified using Value.

Syntax

HRESULT IsPropertyReadOnly(
  [in]          BSTR         bstrPropName,
  [out, retval] VARIANT_BOOL *pbRetVal
);

Parameters

[in] bstrPropName

The name of the property to be modified.

[out, retval] pbRetVal

If this value is True, you cannot modify the property. Otherwise, you can modify the property.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, E_FAIL, and S_OK.
