In Web, FTP, and NNTP servers, the DefaultLogonDomain property is used to specify the default ___domain that the server uses to authenticate users (in a Web hosting scenario where UserIsolationMode = 2). If the value of DefaultLogonDomain is not specified, the default ___domain will be the ___domain name controlled by the computer, if the computer is a ___domain controller. If the computer is not a ___domain controller, the default ___domain will be the computer name.
In the case of FTP, IIS uses this ___domain name to query the corresponding Active Directory (AD) for the two properties required for each user in the Web hosting scenario: msIIS-FTPRoot and msIIS-FTPDir.
