This reference is part of the scvmm extension for the Azure CLI (version 2.15.0 or higher). The extension will automatically install the first time you run an az scvmm vm-template command. Learn more about extensions.

Required Parameters

--custom-___location

Name or ID of the custom ___location that will manage this resource.

--___location -l

Location. Values from: az account list-locations. You can configure the default ___location using az configure --defaults ___location=<___location>.

--name -n

Name of the resource.

--resource-group -g

Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>.

Optional Parameters

The following parameters are optional, but depending on the context, one or more might become required for the command to execute successfully.

--inventory-item -i

Name or ID of the inventory item.

--no-wait

Do not wait for the long-running operation to finish.

Space-separated tags: key[=value] [key[=value] ...]. Use "" to clear existing tags.

--uuid

The ID of the resource created in the VMM.

--vmmserver -v

Name or ID of the vmmserver that is managing this resource.
